Thinking about

imgresI’m halfway through this book, and if there was ever a book that I needed to read at this exact moment, its this one.  I used to think that once I was an adult I wouldn’t struggle with being brave because having courage was just something that came naturally to adults.  Little did I realize that something as silly as blogging or even launching an etsy shop would make me mentally crazy with self doubt.  As crazy psycho as I sound, this SUPER over-analyzer needs courage to hit publish before each and every blog post.  I love how Annie Downs encourages you, assures you, inspires you, and pushes you to reach out and be brave.  Reminding us that “bravery begets bravery” and how “If we are each as unique as the Bible says we are, then our calls to courage are each equally unique.”  Everyone needs to read this book, its fuel for the soul.

imagesTalk about a show you can binge watch, every episode your just about dying trying to figure out what is happening next.  How did I not know this show existed!  Totally hooked!

Thankful for

This guy and the fact that we got to celebrate 10 years of marriage this week!  What feels like a blink of an eye, is actually a life we’ve created filled with so many wonderful memories!  Hoping its the beginning to a lifetime together.

Soaking up the last few weeks of no schedules …

  1. Happy 10 year anniversary!

  2. Congrats on 10 years! That’s a big one! I have been looking for a new show to binge watch, so thank you for your contribution to my shameless couch potato ways. That book looks like a great read too! Blogging does require bravery. I have been blogging for two months now and have still only told one or two of my real life friends about this new hobby. I don’t really know why. It just takes courage to share your thoughts and ideas with others, even those you already know.

    • Its so true though about blogging. I have learned over the past year that you just own it. When I release being caught up on what people will think, and remember I enjoy it and thats all that matters– my heart feels more at peace. Learning over and over again to pour energy into those things that bring me more peace. -You have an awesome blog by the way! Don’t stop writing!!

Your blog is so lovely. I’m glad I found you through the Currently link up!

Let’s All Be Brave looks like a fantastic read. I’ve been searching for something like that to read at the end of summer, and I’m thinking that might be the one :)
